At SOMC Medical Imaging, we combine the latest technology with a caring team of healthcare professionals. Our staff consists of 37 Technologists, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, 12 RIS/PACS techs, 11 transporters, and 8 clerical workers.
SOMC is on the cutting edge with its use of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems). All of our images are completely digital and can be viewed from any computer with the proper software. Many well known medical facilities have visited us to see how we have incorporated PACS in our department.
