Meet Becky Grashel of Portsmouth: Passionate Gardener, Hospice Volunteer and SOMC Cancer Success Story.
Becky underwent surgery and radiation therapy at SOMC. She continued to enjoy family and friends while she received excellent care from her cancer fighting team of OB/GYNs, urologists and radiation oncologists. The wonderful staff at the SOMC Cancer Center provided comfort and motivation.
Now retired, she spends time in her garden and as a Hospice volunteer. “It just seems like the right thing to do,” says Becky.
