Delores underwent surgery and Cancer Care at SOMC. In her words, “I was very well taken care of” by her cancer fighting team of surgeons, pulmonologists and the SOMC Cancer Center staff.
Delores says she wasn’t scared—she had faith in her team and knew she’d get through it and back to volunteering. Her regulars at the restaurant missed her for a time but are thankful she’s better and glad she’s back cooking again.
