Meet Dottie Percell—Cancer Fighter.
Dottie had surgery and is currently undergoing medical oncology treatments here at the SOMC Cancer Center. Dottie wants more people to know about SOMC and the care she is receiving so she is sharing her courageous story.
Dottie was diagnosed with cancer over the Christmas holidays. Her family rallied around her in support. While others suggested she go out of town for her treatments, her grandson (and guardian angel) Wesley suggested, “Mamaw should go to SOMC, because very good things are happening there.” He’s right.
Dottie is determined to beat her cancer and we’re determined to help her with her fight.
