Lungs for Life

Statistics have proven cigarette smoke, both first and second hand smoke, has a devastating effect on our population with a grim outcome. The employees at SOMC are committed to changing the statistics for Southern Ohio.

SOMC is currently in the process of launching a brand new program called Lungs for Life. The Lungs for Life program will incorporate smoking cessation classes as well as community educational opportunities to promote lung healthy lifestyles. SOMC will be offering a unique smoking cessation program at the SOMC Cancer Center for participants. The four week long program will have participants meet once a week for one hour.
