Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation provides rehabilitation services for those with stroke, fractures, spinal cord injuries, deformities, amputations, arthritis, trauma and brain injury, as well as those with neurologic disease, burns and medical problems resulting in functional loss. Physicians in this area specialize in diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment of the spine, nervous system, and muscles and joints, and provide pain-management services.
