Cardiovascular Testing
SOMC Cardiovascular Testing is a non-invasive cardiac and vascular diagnostic laboratory. It is a newly renovated area consisting of state-of-the-art equipment and ten testing rooms that promote privacy and patient comfort.
The staff consists of 15 Registered Nurses who perform ultrasound, two ultrasound technologists, two LPNs, two nursing assistants and three secretaries. The Cardiovascular Testing Medical Staff consists of physicians of cardiology, internal medicine, family practice and surgeons. 60% of the ultrasound staff is registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
