Kim Richendollar, RN, BSN, has accepted the role of Breast Health Navigator at the SOMC Cancer Center.
In this position, Richendollar will be the primary nurse contact for breast cancer patients, helping to bridge the gap between the physical aspects of breast cancer and the immediate needs throughout diagnosis, surgery and treatment. She also will be the coordinator of care to uninsured and underserved women throughout the community.
Richendollar received her associate’s degree from Shawnee State University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She has worked in the Emergency Department at Southern Ohio Medical Center for the past 15 years.
Richendollar resides in the local area with her husband and two children.
