Southern Ohio Medical Center held a groundbreaking ceremony July 19 for the new SOMC Waverly Urgent Care and Specialty Center. D.K.M. Construction of Pike County broke ground on the 16,000-square-foot project July 6 and it’s slated for completion in 2012, weather permitting. The facility will provide urgent care 365 days a year and will also offer a variety of rotating specialty services.
