Progressive Care (Monitored Care)

The Progressive Care Unit, formerly known as Monitored Care, is a 30-bed unit located on the east wing of the second floor. Our unit provides care to cardiac patients, medical/surgical patients, hemodialysis patients and onocology patients. Our staff consists of qualified RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, nurse interns and unit clerks/monitor techs. Several of our RNs are certified in specialty areas such as delivery of chemotherapeutic drugs, medical surgical nursing and progressive care (stepdown) nursing.

The Progressive Care Unit management team is comprised of a nurse manager, Linda Horner, RN, BSN, OCN, PCCN, and five assistant nurse managers, Connie Florek, RN, RNC, PCCN, Kathy Moore, RN, Jill Byler, RN, Chad Lumpkins, RN, BSN, and Justin Nolen, RN, BSN.
