Amy Powell, RN
The Inpatient Rehabilitation unit is a 16-bed unit comprised of semi-private and private rooms located on the second floor of the main campus. Our interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists and physicians provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services to individuals with orthopedic, neurologic and other medical conditions resulting in a loss of function in activities of daily living, mobility, cognition or communication.
We are proud to have Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses on our team, and we encourage and support certification and continued education. To help with that end, we offer monthly and bi-monthly Rehab Rounds, where participants can gain knowledge about a variety of rehabilitation topics presented by board certified physicians and other experts. Contact hours are provided for these free educational sessions.
Our team members are valued for their expertise, experience and ideas. Staff members have the opportunity to work on a variety of teams that influence patient care, quality and work life.
Flexibility is one of the highest-rated job values on our employee satisfaction survey. Our Inpatient Rehab unit offers both 12-hour and 8-hour shifts to help accommodate personal schedules.
Our unit is CARF accredited, meeting the highest standards for service and quality set by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
