Dr. Michael Stefan graduated from New York University having majored in both medical science and art history. Following medical school and general surgery training, he was fellowship trained in aesthetic surgery and plastic surgery of the breast at Georgetown University Medical Center.

Dr. Stefan has contributed articles to medical journals, co-authored several chapters on the subject of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, and has lectured extensively on cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Stefan’s approach to aesthetic surgery is as unique as his background in both art and medicine. His training and passion for the fine arts served to hone his aesthetic sense, apparent in his work. He is routinely singled out for the natural results and remarkable enhancement of patients.

Dr. Stefan holds board certification from both the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an esteemed member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Skin Care Specialist, and the American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons. He has been chosen for inclusion into the guide to America’s top physicians from the consumer’s research counsel of America and is a lifetime member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
