SOMC Hosting BLS Classes This November

Southern Ohio Medical Center will be hosting quarterly BLS (Basic Life Support) classes starting this November.

BLS classes teach participants essential skills for high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants. The classes are designed for healthcare professionals and first responders such as nurses, EMTs, paramedics and hospital staff.

Successful participants will receive a two-year certification card from the American Heart Association.

November’s BLS classes will be held on November 24 from 5pm until 7:30pm in the SOMC Medical Library on the hospital’s main campus. Cost is $80. Space is also limited so participants are required to register by contacting Community Health & Wellness at 740-356-8070 or 740-356-8078.
