2026 Run For Your Life Set for September 5

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Registration is now open for the 49th annual Southern Ohio

Medical Center Run For Your Life. The event will be held on Saturday, September 5, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center (SOMC) Life Center in Portsmouth.

Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K race. Registration and packet pickup will begin at 6:30 a.m., with races starting at 7:30 a.m.

The registration fee is $25 per person. The first 200 registered participants will receive a commemorative race shirt.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the SOMC Development Foundation Community Health and Wellness Fund, which is designed to offer support to projects that will positively affect the health and wellness of those living and working in the community.
