Southern Ohio Medical Center is dedicated to keeping our community healthy. We strive to do this by educating our community on the simple everyday things they can do to better their own personal wellness.

It’s no secret that a well balanced diet, coupled with exercise, stress management, and a healthy home and work environment is conducive to a longer life span. However, managing these can be difficult.
Here you will find a few ways how to reduce stress, eat healthy without sacrificing taste, and ways to improve health even further by keeping up with vaccinations, doctor visits and using proper handwashing techniques.

Education & Health Screenings
People of all ages can learn the dangers of tobacco use, warning signs and symptoms of tobacco related illness, and take the pledge to stay off tobacco for life.
Southern Ohio Medical Center offers American Diabetes Association accredited education for patients with Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes.
This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.
