SOMC to Host Riverboat Tour to Benefit Endowment FundPosted on June 21, 2011
The Southern Ohio Medical Center Foundation Board will host an evening of Nautical Proportions, a fundraiser for the SOMC Endowment Fund. Join us for a dinner at 6:30 p.m. July 27 aboard the Cincinnati Belle Riverboat.
In 2003, SOMC established an Endowment Fund to insure the stability and quality of community care. As the development arm of SOMC, the Foundation Board is committed to see the fund grow so that interest from the endowment will be available to provide for exceptional care, training, technology and service far into the future.
”SOMC is committed to the growth of the endowment and for a limited time, the hospital will match contributions, dollar for dollar,” Randy Arnett, president and CEO of SOMC, said. “Each ticket purchased will make a double difference. Join us for an evening of fun, good food and an opportunity to take home the grand prize of $5,000 in cash.”
“Sweepstakes proceeds will benefit the SOMC Endowment Fund. With your participation, you buy into the future of exceptional care for your children and grandchildren and the generations to come,” Arnett added.
“The endowment provides an opportunity for people to contribute and support our hospital so we can meet the healthcare needs of our community in the future, Gary Duzan, SOMC Board of Directors and SOMC Foundation Board Member, said. “This event is a good opportunity to support a leading regional medical center and it will be a great opportunity to interact with leaders of our community and have a night of fun.”
Participants will also have the chance to win various prizes totaling $5,000 in value. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase. For more information or to purchase a ticket, call 740-356-8338.
