
The Ambulatory Infusion Clinic is a 9 bed unit that is open 7 days a week from 8am to 6:30pm. The AIC provides non-emergent outpatient care for patients 14 years or older, special consideration will be made for anyone younger than 14. The AIC Team is lead by Vascular Access Certificed nurses and is supported by registration and financial counseling. The financial counseling team works with clinicians to ensure prior authorizations of medications obtained and connects patients with patient assistance programs.
Services that are included in the AIC are:
- PICC/Midline maintenance and insertions
- Blood transfusions
- Intravenous medication infusions including specialty medications for:
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Crohns
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Immunodeficiencies, etc
- Port draws and flushes
- Intravenous hydration
- Subcutaneous and Intramuscular injections
- Therapeutic phlebotomies
- IV antibiotic therapy
- Financial Counselor services to assist with pre-authorization and co-pay assistance
