Southern Ohio Medical Center offers American Diabetes Association accredited education for patients with Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes. We offer individual or group education for all patients.

Southern Ohio Medical Center encourages individuals of all ages to include physical activity into his or her daily routine. We recommend following the American Heart Association guidelines of 150 minutes of physical activity each week.
SOMC believes a lifetime of wellness begins with our youth. Partnering with the Sports Motion Athletic Trainers/ Wellness Coaches, we have developed health information aimed at school age children.
