Mark your calendars for an exceptional day of golf, camaraderie, and community support at the SOMC’s 38th Annual Invitational Golf Tournament on Friday, June 13, 2025. Hosted at the picturesque Elks Country Club in McDermott, Ohio, this event promises not just a competitive spirit but also a heartfelt contribution towards a healthier future for our community.

Event Schedule

  • 7:30am – 8:30 am: Begin your day with a smooth registration process.
  • 8:30am: Experience the excitement of a shotgun start.
  • 1pm – 3pm: Savor delicious lunch provided by The Scioto Ribber, followed by the much-anticipated awarding of prizes.

Prizes, Fun, and Fair Play

  • Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place teams in each of four flights.
  • Door prizes and various course prices will be awarded.
  • There will be a Best Dressed "Par-Tee" Content.
  • Raffle Tickets will be available for pre-purchase and at the event. Tickets are $5.00 each.
  • You must be present to win.
  • There will be a limit of 32 teams.
  • Gold tees will be permitted for golfers 65 and over.

  • Sponsorship Opportunity: For $1,000, secure a 4-person team slot, inclusive of two carts, event signage, social media shout-outs, and the chance to include your marketing materials in welcome bags.
  • 4-Person Team: Get the early bird offer of $525 or $725 post-deadline.

All proceeds are dedicated to the SOMC Community Health & Wellness Fund, a beacon of hope supporting impactful projects like hot yoga panels at the SOMC Portsmouth Life Center, portable AED machines, smoking cessation kits, and more. Your participation helps us extend this circle of wellness.
