We love having Zest, the newest member of SOMC Hospice, as part of our team! This joyful two-year-old golden retriever and lab mix is officially on duty, bringing comfort, companionship, and a whole lot of love to our hospice patients and their families.

Zest now works a full-time, 40-hour week schedule, just like the rest of our dedicated team. To ensure she stays healthy and well-rested, she goes home each evening to relax outside of work.

Whether she’s offering a gentle nuzzle, easing anxiety with her presence, or simply brightening the room with her spirit, Zest is already making a big impact. She is truly a ray of sunshine in our hospice community—and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her.
